Description
As seller recalls, The Parastat was, and perhaps is yet, regarded as setting the industry standard in record cleaners. The cleaner consists of a micro-bristle brush sandwiched between velvet microfiber pads. (Note that pads and brush may themselves be removed from the handpiece.) The handpiece is encased by a chromed-steel cover that slides gently over it. (Put differently, the cover is not made to spring, clip, or snap into place over the handpiece.) A foam pad inside the cover is intended to keep the brush and padsvery slightly
damp, for better cleaning and static reduction. All of these components are as pictured, and, for those new to its use, complete instructions for the device can undoubtedly be found somewhere here on the web, and should be read.
There are no real defects to this Parastat. The chrome is mirror-bright but does show some very light and very minor table wear scuffing to its bottom side. That aside, the metal is not bent, rusted, or scratched. Bristles of the brush show some discoloration at each end. This Parastat has been owned only by the seller, who has kept it indoors in a smoke-free home.
