Vintage Marble Parrot Bookends

Vintage Marble Parrot Bookends. Condition is "Used". This is a set I have had for a long time I think since the 70's I am getting rid of many of my books and some of my bookends are going as well. This set is made of marble or alabaster  with a nick here or there I have had them tip over and they have lasted for years. No cracks in them little round bead eyes, heavy duty standing 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide about 2 inches deep. They can hd up quite a few books. Nice on a desk. They have an open hole that I can fit my hand through. Gray and white marbling. Please check the photos and request more if you need them  they are most likely ltaly made and have the number 27 etched into the bottom of each. They come as is and are the actual ones on the photos. I always considered them parrots but some may say they are cockatiels, cockatoos, but they definately are a bird. Have fun with the auction.
