Royal Grafton Bone China 5 1/2" Saucer, A.B. Jones and Sons Ltd., (Circa 1950's)
This vintage A.B. Jones and Sons chinaware is in EXCELLENT condition. There are NO chips, cracks, or crazing. This saucer measures 5 1/2" in diameter. It has a floral pattern in the center which appears to be carnations and bluebells. According to A.B. Jones and Sons Ltd., Porcelain & Earthenware manufacturer at Grafton Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, the "Makers Mark" or "Back Stamp" dates from the 1950s.
Royal Grafton is a ceramics manufacturer in Stoke-on-Trent that continued to make tableware from 1876 to 1972. Royal Grafton fine bone china ceased trading in 1972. Royal Grafton itself is no longer in business, so you can only get these nice old ones.
Royal Grafton fine bone china (A.B. Jones & Sons Ltd) - Founded 1876 Staffordshire, England by Alfred Jones. Royal Grafton Bone China was a family owned business and very nice quality maker. A.B. Jones & Sons Ltd used the trade name: "Grafton" or later "Royal Grafton" after being given a royal warrant by Queen Mary. Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition to individuals or companies who have supplied goods or services for at least five years. Grafton (Jones) were a top maker of the early 20th Century. Royal Warrants have always been regarded as demonstrating excellence and quality, and are highly prized.

I never add any additional pricing in my shipping costs, only for what is used in providing you great packing and service. No used or old packing materials are used in delivering your item to you.
TAXES:

As we all know, there are only two things that are certain, Death and Taxes. In knowing this, as the Seller, I have to pay my OWN taxes for doing business on eBay, and you as the Buyer will, or may, depending on your state be charged Taxes upon check out and payment of the item purchased. I have no control over either your taxes or my taxes. eBay kindly calculates this fee and charges us both. From there, eBay subtracts those taxes from both my profits and your purchase and forwards those monies to the approx. state. I don't receive any portion of the taxes you paid upon check out and have no control over the amount being charged.
