    Description

Oxylator EMX Ventilator (for maintaining inhalation pressure. Condition is "New."  The EMX is a
small, portable, patient-responsive ventilation-resuscitation devices that runs on compressed oxygen or air and does not require electricity. Oxygen, air, or a combination thereof is delivered through a pressure- and flow-sensing system to provide optimum airway management during emergencies and attended short-term ventilation.
The Oxylator EMX is a “positive pressure” resuscitation and inhalation system that uses a patented, patient responsive technology. It requires no power source other than a 50 PSI supply of compressed oxygen or air. It operate with either the mask or ET-tubes. The Oxylator EMX is not a “demand valve” or “vent”, but it is a new technology pressure limited / flow triggered ventilation device, designed to replace the BVM during CPR/resuscitation and transport. Small, light weight, rugged, easy to use, and easy to “decon.”  Hook the outlet to a standard hose and mask (like used for sleep apnea) and the inlet's hose (included) to an oxygen bottle.
The device in in wide use in ambulances around the world as it is small, simple, and self-contained.
The Oxylator than regulates the flow and acts like a powered ventilator; however, no machinery or electricity is required.  Set it to the desired pressure and it maintains itself.  Of course, its use should only be under the supervision of a doctor/nurse, but if sick with COVID or another respiratory problem it is nice to have your own ventilator that can be hooked up to any oxygen source.  There was a time when ventilators were in short supply, and having your own backup might make sense to many people, as it did to me and my family when we bought these for 0 each.  Google the device and
