CLEAN VINTAGE PIONEER QUADRAPHONIC HEADPHONES SE-Q404 2 OR 4 CHANNEL - WORKS !
Up for auction today is a fantastic pair of hard to find vintage Pioneer Quadraphonic headphones Model SE-Q404. These work great and sound fantastic. Made in Japan. These were produced in the 1970's. As such, the volume pots need a thorough cleaning. I pulled the knobs and used Deoxit which made it 99% better, but pulling and cleaning the entire pot may be needed for 100%, but use your own judgment. They sound great. Sold as-is due to age. The exterior is in excellent condition considering these were made in the mid 70s. Leather and earcups are intact and not dry rotted. Cord is in great shape still soft and supple. I tested it in 4 channel mode and WOW look out Bose, haha.
