The concept behind these dies is that one die features a design on each side to help you create layered images with ease. They will help you to save time, whilst giving you that precise and accurate cut that you know and love from the Crafter's Companion range of dies. Instead of having to roll two individual dies through the machine to create two layers, you will only need to use the one. And of course having double sided dies will save on storage capacity for your dies.
In the "Elements" flower die sets, you will receive three dies, which is all you will need to construct a flower with six layers. In the Sprigs and Blossoms set, you will receive four dies, which is all you will need to construct a variety of layered foliage to go with your flowers. Discover the unbelievable effects that you can achieve with the Double-Sided Dies and embellish your cards, scrapbooks and gift tags with the most stunning, layered flowers! The "Create-A-Card" dies are single double sided dies that create beautiful, unique card fronts. The Edge'Ables dies are also single double sided dies but work on the edge of the paper which, depending on the die, can create either overlay scenes or unique card edges. You'll be absolutely amazed at the 3D effects!
The recommended sandwich for your Gemini Machine is the Gemini Clear Plate, Double-Sided Die Cutting Plate, 1st piece of paper, double-sided die, 2nd sheet of paper, Double-Sided Die Cutting Plate and then the Gemini Clear Plate. Run it through your machine twice.
It is not recommended that you use the Double-Sided Dies with only your regular cutting plates, you will need to use the Double-Sided Die Cutting Plates (two plates come in a package). The Double-Sided Die Cutting Plates are specially formulated and designed for this purpose. They have been specifically designed to fit your Gemini or Gemini Junior machine, so make sure you grab yourself some for your paper crafting stash today! To care for your plates, please flip and rotate after each pass. If the plate does start to bow, flip over and pass through until it is flat again, then continue to flip and rotate as normal.
