How it works: Diflubenzuron is the insect growth regulator/active ingredient in this feed-through fly control product. It is not absorbed by the horse's gastro intestinal tract, but it is excreted in the horse's manure where it stops the development of house and stable fly larvae. If horses are continually treated it prevents house and stable fly larvae from developing into mature adults. When horses are continually treated, stable and house fly larvae can’t develop in the manure, so you’ll see a significant reduction in the fly population.
