AKG K1000 Headphones/Earspeakers. These are in good working condition with no sound reproduction issues. They show some clear signs of their age - mainly the fading of the branding and a slight musty smell that I would liken to an old bookstore (this seems to be due to the old foam). It’s not something I found particularly off putting, but I feel it should be mentioned so there’s no surprises.
The box is in pretty rough shape, as shown in the pictures. The top foam is missing, the back corners are splitting, and the metal hinges are rusty/corroded. The box works fine for storage and doesn’t seem as though it’s going to fall to pieces, but if you’re looking for something pristine, this isn’t it.
Comes with aftermarket speaker taps made by LQI Cables worth over 0.
I’m selling due to the fact that I have financial responsibilities preventing me from purchasing the equipment necessary to truly make these shine. I’d rather see these go to someone who has an audio system that can get them to their full potential, they’ll fit right in.
