Description
Original rare 1922  realphoto  postcard showing the old Olson Store at St.Joe Idaho. It was a General Store, Sport Shop and Hotel on the St. Joe River. Parked in front are two trucks from the Kootenai Inn from nearby St.Maries. They are loaded with covered up milk cans full of Trout fry from the local hatchery ready for the first planting of fish, possibly in all of Idaho. The Washington Dept of wildlife assisted. You can just make out the name on the trucks with a magnify glass. From the collection of Jerome Peltier, Northwest author & historian. The data came from the Museum of North Idaho archives.
Card is in very good unmailed condition.
